I’d love to see this novel line of thinking expanded for salespeople who are asked to adhere to their rigid sales methodologies, processes and scripts. Adaptive selling - yes!

John - thanks for that insight. As a long-time salesperson who grew up with consultative selling training, I believe that adaptability is a critical component for successful outcomes. I have also been involved in many SaaS organizations that are bound tightly to scripts that are inflexible and feature-first oriented. That is a transactional selling method that I can't subscribe to. I believe that as AI begins to dissolve the SaaS business model, adaptability and optionality will become the next normal.

Toby, I'm curious if you've considered licensing your ShiftStory™️ intellectual property. Certified licensees could teach your methodology and pay you a royalty. If so, I'd be interested.

I am considering that as part of my evolution. I have 10 years of practice under my belt, and ShiftStory is a new creation. Borrows from 100 different client experiences plus some innovation thrown in.
